  • Can I store breast milk?
Expressing your breast milk to use at a later time or date can have many benefits; From enabling your partner to share in the feeding process; to ensuring you are able to breastfeed for as long as you feel is right for you and your baby, even if this is beyond your return to work. Formula feeding also provides great convenience and flexibility, however in practice, both methods come with challenges: Challenges: Milk has a finite amount of time in which it can be safely consumed; a laps in memory with regard to the time a bottle was expressed, thawed or prepared can lead to confusion as to when it will expire. Pre-prepared bottles can get mixed up. Lack of handover to your support system can risk disarranging the pre-planned order in which each bottle should be used. Unpredictable situations such as your baby falling asleep, deciding they’re not hungry just yet, or general distractions can often cause a delay in the feeding process. All of the above can result in milk being unnecessarily disposed of, or even being consumed outside the safe parameters.
  • How does MILK STRAP help?
MILK STRAPs can provide you with a physical note of the time and date the milk was produced. When ready to use, you simply look at your MILK STRAP and refer to the safe storage advice and check it is within the safe parameters to now be consumed. With forward-planning of your storage technique, you could use your MILK STRAP to note the date and time the milk would no longer be within the safe parameters and must be thrown away. Or simply use your MILK STRAP to note the date and time your baby’s bottle is due; a great handover tool to ensure your feeding plan remains in place.
  • How many straps come in a pack?
Every MILK STRAP bundle contains x3 reusable straps and x1 milkstrap pen!
  • Can MILK STRAP be used on any bottle?
Yes! Milk Strap fits around any size or shape bottle - just snap the band and wrap it around.
  • How do I wipe the ink of my MILKSTRAP?
The MILKSTRAP pen ink will stay put until you give it a 'good wipe', this is so it doesn't accidentally wipe off in your bag or in your babies hands! The best thing to use to wipe the ink off when you're ready to re-use your MILKSTRAP, is a water wipe. Alternatively, a bit of soapy water will work a treat too.
